forever grateful i was simply too lazy to let the makeup industrial complex get its hooks in me. I was just like im not doing all of that. in fact. im doing none of that

yeah I have political reasons for it now but my original and still most powerful reason is “I am not getting out of this bed one single second before I have to”

Literally any other colour would’ve been a better choice guys.

I’d like to point out that the colour red has more positive than negative meanings.

im sorry but this reply absolutely killed me

red can mean whatever the heck you want it to mean, that is never going to change that this straight up looks like they DRAGGED A BLOODY BODY ACROSS THE FUCKING FLOOR 😂

Hi fun fact, colors do have meaning and there is a legit thing called color theory. Red does has more positive connotations than negative like the @mintymaiden said. Red is associated with more love, lust, passion than blood and death just like the chart shows you but If you want, here’s a link for you to check it out yourself. Also, check out “The Designer’s Dictionary of Color” by Sean Adams. Have fun learning something

I think y’all are missing the point here.

You can theorize to Nebraska and back but that doesn’t change my immediate reaction which is that someone is literally dragging a corpse around

I like that the presumption here is that “No One On Tumblr Has Heard of Color Theory, Let Me Explain in Depth” rather than simply acknowledging that the VISUAL EFFECTS of this particular color choice, applied in the manner it was, can still amount to “this is a hospital and that looks like blood”

like, color theory doesn’t exist in a vacuum. If your design of choice for Blood Red Paint is asymmetric splatters and sploches against the wall, or in this case, a snail trail on the hallway’s floor, an infographic won’t override the viewers’ instinct.

this post is the perfect summation of tumblr’s reading comprehension and critical thought abilities

Reblogging because there’s a lot of new people on here and you need some context for the jokes.

Ethan giggling and kicking his feet while coming up with the plan that includes Benji pulling him out of the water and reviving him

Ethan in the notebook: Several pointed reminders that he’ll be severely hypothermic once he starts breathing, so it’s very important that Benji remembers to share body heat via cuddling!

Does Ethan discuss Benji’s abs as frequently and enthusiastically as Tom Cruise did Simon Pegg’s?

Considering that Ethan’s job demands a bit more secrecy, he doesn’t have many people to discuss them with. Especially after Luther makes it very much clear that he doesn’t want to hear about it anymore.

My favorite shoes in the winter are my Manitobah mukluks, which are Metis-owned and participate heavily in community initiatives with other indigenous nations to train and support artists. They also partner regularly with artists from other nations on their shoes to create custom editions. Currently they are collaborating with Rosa Scribe (Cree), Janae Grass (Sac & Fox), Atheana Picha (Salish), and Melissa Peter-Paul (Mi'kmaw). They also host an indigenous market that showcases and promotes indigenous artists.

Plus they’re warm as hell and the sheepskin lining means I don’t have to wear socks, which is extremely nice sensory comfort. So that’s nice as well.

Eighth Generation (Snoqualmie Tribe) has some beautiful stuff - I’ve bought a huge beautiful beach towel and cool socks from them personally, but they have jewelry, art, housewares, lots of great work.

a couple new additions:

  • Only Child Handicrafts — beadwork created by a 30-year-old beadworker, which they learned while growing up near the Great Lakes from the Anishinaabe; their paternal family is Ojibwe from Fort William First Nation & their patterns are both based on traditional patterns & contemporary ((recommended by @fruityshirts))

middle picture: blanket made by Rachel Twoteeth Pichardo, a Little Shell artist from North Carolina

It’s not a small creator, but Prados Beauty is indigenous-owned and partners with indigenous designers. They’re pretty mainstream now but I’ve only heard good things about their corporate practices.

so who’s on first?

That’s right 👍🏻

that’s strange

No, he’s on second.

Well how’s he on second if he’s on first?

No no no, House is on third. Second base is Strange.

Well this whole darn thing is strange but what I’m asking is who’s on first?

Naturally.

Who?

Naturally.

So Naturally is the first baseman?

No. The first baseman is Who.

Well I don’t know that so how’s about you tell me?

House is on Third.

I’m not asking you about third base I’m asking you about first base.

Who’s on first!

This is horrible

Dr Horrible is the pitcher, not first base

That’s not what I’m asking about! No!

Dr No is up to bat.

I LOVE this TFR commentary that peels the layers and layers of relationship between Ethan and Luther like what do you mean they were each playing it cool for the other’s benefit??

“You’re trying not to worry him, and he is - he knows ‘This is gonna hit him in a minute. I know my friend too well.’”
“'And I’m gonna be very patient because he’s not gonna wanna leave.’”
“Ethan always thinks there’s a way out, and now [..] Luther’s gotta break it to his friend, and he’s gotta get his friend to leave.”

I am never not screaming crying throwing up with these two 💔
